HURINET-U ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The AGM is a forum where HURINET-U members meet to review the operations of the secretariat for the previous year and plan for the following year. These forums are organized by the secretariat and attended by participants from Member Organizations, HURINET-U Board Members, Development partners and Staff. Elections for the new board usually takes place every after three years. This Year’s 28th AGM was on 28th July 2017 at the Secretariat.

National Dialogue on the State of Policing in Uganda

GAAMAC hosts biannual global meetings and has so far held two, one in Costa Rica (2014), Philippines (2016) and GAAMAC III will be held in Kampala in corporation with the Government of Uganda from 22nd -25th May 2018. The conference will focus on mutual cooperation between the state and Civil Society Organization (CSO’s) to make prevention a reality at the local, national, regional and international level..
