HURINET-U ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The AGM is a forum where HURINET-U members meet to review the operations of the secretariat for the previous year and plan for the following year. These forums are organized by the secretariat and attended by participants from Member Organizations, HURINET-U Board Members, Development partners and Staff. Elections for the new board usually takes place every after three years. This Year’s 28th AGM was on 28th July 2017 at the Secretariat.

60 Former Flying Squad operatives sent home

The Flying Squad has been on the frontline of fighting violent crimes like aggravated robberies, car thefts and kidnaps. Last month, Mr Okoth-Ochola restructured the Flying Squad and reverted its former commandant, Mr Herbert Muhangi to general duties, which is a lower responsibility. Read more
