Governing Organs of HURINET-U

The HURINET-U structure is made of the General Assembly (GA) which comprise of all member organisations, the Board with membership elected by the General Assembly and the Secretariat which runs the day to day affairs of the Network.

1. General Assembly

The General Assembly is the highest policy making organ of the Network. It meets once a year to conduct the business of the Network and each fully paid up Member Organization is represented by three active members in the Assembly. The General Assembly elects members of the Board after every three years.

2. The Board

The HURINET-U Board comprises of a nine members elected every three years to formulate policies and oversee the management and effective running of the affairs of the Network.

3. Secretariat

The Secretariat is headed by the management committee with the leadership of the National Coordinator. The Secretariat has got a number of staff to include: Program Officers, Project Officers, Accountants, Administrator, Support Staff, Interns and Volunteers.
