HURINET- U concentrates its activities within 2 key areas namely;

capacity Building and Network Development which seeks to enhance the structural/ technical capacity of HURINET-U members and other like- minded organisations in the area of human rights, good governance and democracy to effectively champion human rights observance in Uganda. And,

Advocacy, Research and Information; which seeks to advocate for an enabling legal policy and institutional frame work underpinning constitutionalism, good governance, rule of law, democracy and respect for human rights.
